Individual therapy begins with an initial intake session. You may think of this part of the therapeutic process as a funnel of information being channeled into an environment where it is safe to look, and understand within the greater context of the client's concerns. This is the process through which clients work one-on-one with their psychotherapist in a compassionate, safe and confidential environment. Our therapeutic approaches are chosen based on client needs, which can include but are not limited to CBT, SFBT, Narrative, and other humanistic and psychodynamic approaches.
Couples therapy begins by exploring client concerns, goals, and experiences. Goals may range from working through relationship conflict to learning more about one another to ensure clients feel they connect with their partner in their desired ways. Pre-marital counselling, and issues such as separation or divorce may also be supported through this process. Finding the best strategies and creating new dynamics to improve the way individuals interact is made possible through EFT, SFBT and other therapeutic approaches.
Children and youth therapy is formatted to support individuals through social, emotional, and relationship challenges. Part of the process will be about locating and nurturing strengths to support these individuals and building on these things to help clients reach their desired goals. Issues include but are not limited to::

Common goals for family therapy include assistance with overcoming conflicts, communicating needs, building bonds, and strengthening unions.
